How We Help
Typically, our awards enable young people to join others in music making.
We pay all or part of the fees for approved activities, including course fees and any residential costs. We pay the course provider direct. Transport costs may be paid to the beneficiary or to their families.
We DO provide funding
for the following activities:

masterclasses, summer schools and workshops with a clear educational component

other short-term courses involving teaching or coaching in new skills or unfamiliar pieces

We DO NOT normally provide
funding for these activities:

development of singing skills
-
development of skills in composition
-
regular instrumental lessons
-
purchase or rental of instruments
-
school fees or examination fees
-
tours or similar activities focused on rehearsal and performance
