Helping Young Musicians To Flourish

soloflute.jpg

We are a small family-run charity.  Each year, we give four or five young people the chance to make music with others by paying for a short, intensive course they'd like to attend.  Most of them are not already confident or

outstanding instrumentalists.

The course
improved my skill and
coherence and I can say
with confidence that it was one of, if not the best experience of my
whole life

Our Aim

To help young people develop a lasting love of making music through attendance and performance at intensive instrumental courses, workshops and masterclasses, especially but not exclusively residential ones.

Our Criteria

We support under-18s from underprivileged families. You don't need to be a seasoned performer already. Click for more guidance.

Generally, we fund highly-focused one-off courses and workshops.  Click for more guidance

Just being with
other like-minded
musicians was also really important and I have made friendships that will last
for many years
